SimuLase_AnalyzerTM is SimuLase's GUI that allows to display and analyze
GainDatabases as set up with SimuLase or as purchased from NLCSTR as part of a consulting agreement.
This tool allows to:

display gain/absorption-, refractive index- and PL-spectra, confinement potentials, wavefunctions and levels,
radiative and Auger losses,
|
|
• |
determine the linewidth enhancement factor for a given carrier density,
|
|
• |
determine loss currents for a given out-coupling and internal optical loss, or
as function of the operating wavelength,
|
|
• |
determine the gain for a given loss current and, thus, the maximum gain for these operating conditions,
|
|
• |
analyze experimentally measured PL spectra to determine the growth quality.
