Following the links below you can download a free demo-version of
a GainDatabase for a typical InGaAsP-structure operating near 1.3µm
and the graphical user interface, SimuLase_AnalyzerTM,
that allows you to display the data and analyze experimental data.
You can also download just a reduced subset of this GainDatabase and
some experimentally measured photo luminescence data that can be used
to test the PLAnalyzer feature of the GUI.
This version of the GUI only works with the demo GainDatabase. If you have purchased
GainDatabases from NLCSTR and would like the latest version of the GUI, please contact
NLCSTR.
Download Instructions:
SimuLase_Analyzer: If you have an older version of SimuLase_AnalyzerTM, uninstall that
version first by selecting "Start | Control Panel | Add or Remove Programs" on your Windows machine,
highlight "SimuLase_Analyzer" and click "Remove".
To download and install the GUI click the appropriate link below.
A dialog box should appear. Click OK to the option "Open with the default application (CompressedFolder)".
Once the file has been downloaded
a filemanager window should appear.
Click on the file "setup.exe" or "SimuLaseAnalyzerInstaller.msi"
and follow the usual installation instructions appearing afterwards.
Once you have successfully installed the GUI a "SimuLase_Analyzer"-icon ,
, should appear on your desktop.
Demo-GainDatabases: To download the demo GainDatabases click on the respective links below.
A dialog should appear. Select the option to "save" the zipped folder to your computer.
Once the folder is downloaded right-click on it and select the option "extract all...".
This will extract all the files to a folder of your choice. For the full Demo-GainDatabase
this can take a few minutes.
You can open the GainDatabase and/or the experimental data from within SimuLase by selecting
the "File | Open GainDatabase" option and selecting the file "*.gdb" from the folder
to which you saved the data.
